Subject: Theft from Towson Motor Vehicles February, 2018

Good Afternoon,

Recently we have had an increase in late night thefts from motor vehicles. These crimes have occurred in different neighborhoods within areas in the Towson Precinct.  The areas range from those bordering Loch Raven Boulevard, Perring Parkway and Putty Hill Avenue to those near York and Dulaney Valley Roads as well as Knollwood Community.

The common denominator with most of these are that the vehicles were left unlocked, and valuable often times were left accessible.

Please impress upon your residents and customers to lock their doors, use vehicle alarms, do not leave valuables or any items in plain view, and utilize lighting in the areas that have it available.

Also, do not hesitate to call 911 when there is someone suspicious or something suspicious is occurring in your neighborhood.

Thank you and please let me know if you have any questions.
