Police and Community Relations Council (PCRC) is a voluntary organization that partners with Baltimore County Police Department. Each of Baltimore County’s Precincts has their own PCRC and meet monthly. The main goal of PCRC is to promote good relations between the Police and the residents in our communities.
The Police Captain of each Precinct attends meetings. Often these monthly meetings have a speaker so citizens can learn about the workings of the Police Department and other community organizations. Recently, for example, Precinct 6 PCRC had an officer speak on speed cameras. At another meeting Precinct 6 PCRC had an officer speak on Crime Analysis. Each Precinct PCRC regularly recognize individual officers within their precincts through various yearly and monthly awards. PCRC receives no funds from the County. Donations are welcome, in the form of dues, collected from members of each precinct to finance its activities. Individual Member dues is $5.00 and Corporate/Organization dues is $10.00. Some donors add extra $ to their dues. PCRC is happy to accept your donation as well!
