Towson Precinct Six Officer of the Month-February, 2018

Precinct Six Officer of the Month/February, 2018

Police Officer First Class Elizabeth Case badge #5718 from the midnight shift has been selected as the February 2018 Officer of the Month.

This was based on both her being the squad leader in arrests (6), case clearances (4), traffic citations (11), warnings (13) and SEROS (4), and her overall case accomplishments for the month. She was involved in the arrest of one suspect responsible for the kidnapping of a female from a local convenience store. She was also the primary officer in a Home Invasion Burglary at a local hotel/motel. The case involved a lengthy barricade, and a complicated set of circumstances. The result was two arrests one with the help of the Baltimore City QRT, and the gun used in the crime was recovered. For overall enforcement for the month of February she performed over 50 percent above the squad average.

During the month of February, these School Resource Officers (SROs) handled an unprecedented amount of school threats. In these tumultuous times the threats come in nearly every day and involved social media, real or make believe weapons and in-depth investigations that go far beyond the school grounds. Each of these officers went above and beyond during the month by working with administrators, parents and detectives to swiftly solve these cases.

Congratulations to Officer Case and Officers Ballard, Brown, Fiedler and Suber, and thank you to the supervisors who took the time to recognize their personnel for exceptional and quality work.
